to October 11th, 2009 | Attila the Hun(slet) :-: New Resident Steam Loco
On the 12/09/09 William High obtained a 5in Don Young 0-4-0ST Quarry Hunslet from it's builder, the loco is called 'Attila'. Almost a month the later on 10/10/09 the boiler passed its steam test at the North Wales Model Engineering Society track in Llandudno, the following day 'Attila' was taken to her new home line in Bethesda for some trials. Photos from the Dydd Gwyl Dewi event, a very low key open day held over the weekend of the 28 of Feburary and 1st of March 2009 with Simon's Miniature Railway with us again.

 | February 8th, 2009 | The Stokerton Snowman 2009
Following the heavy snowfall that Bethesda has recently received William High spent the day playing trains in the snow, to keep him company the Stokerton Snowman was built, this name is also shared with the train name.

These photos were taken at the railway's first open day, which was also the first time steam had operarted on the railway since the sale of the premises. Our thanks go to Simon's Miniature Railway (www.1smr.co.uk) for bringing they're locos over for the weekend.
